Learn To Play
Learn to Play is a COED recreational program for those who prefer a non-intimidating, relaxed atmosphere where basic skills, tactics and the rules of water polo are taught in a positive environment that promotes fun team play and fitness. No water polo experience is necessary, but participants should be comfortable deep-end swimmers. New players are welcome throughout the year.
The program runs from September to June.
Weekly Learn To Play Session:
- Sundays, Carleton University pool – 6:30pm to 8pm
Cost:
Our current season fees are outlined here. Note that individuals who register for this program are welcome to also attend the Pick-up Games and/or the Semi-Competitive scrimmages at no additional cost, as long as these programs have spare spots for them.
What is included: We provide all the water polo equipment (e.g. balls, caps, nets).
Semi-Competitive
The Semi-competitive league is a COED program for experienced water polo players ages 18+ who enjoy a more intense water polo environment. New players are welcome throughout the year.
The program runs from September to June.
Weekly Semi-Competitive Session:
- Thursdays, Ottawa University pool – 9:15pm to 10:30pm

Our current season fees are outlined here. Note that individuals who register for this program are welcome to also attend the Learn-to-Play and/or the Pick-up Games at no additional cost, as long as these programs have spare spots for them.
What is included: We provide all the water polo equipment (e.g. balls, caps, nets).
Pick-Up Games
Pick-up games is a COED recreational program for ages 16+. Participants meet once or twice a week to play a pick-up game of recreational water polo. No formal training provided: participants warm-up, are divided into 2 equal-strength teams and scrimmage. Emphasis is on fun and sportsmanship. No water polo experience is necessary, but participants should be comfortable deep-end swimmers. New players are welcome throughout the year.
The program runs from September to May.
Weekly Pick-up Games:
- Mondays, Richcraft pool – 9pm to 10pm
- Wednesdays, Richcraft pool – 9pm to 10pm

Major League Competition
This option is NOT for Titans 18U competitive athletes. Their participation in the Major League will be handled separately. This option is for those 18+ local male and female athletes who would like to compete in Canada’s NCL Major League. This is Canada’s higher level water polo competition.
How to join a Major League team:

Cost:
- League participation fees will be worked out with the Team Manager depending on the number of players and teams entered in the league.
What is included: All the water polo equipment (balls, caps, nets) will be provided.
What is extra: NCL Tournament fees and team uniform.
