October 5th, 2021

Ottawa, ON – We are proud to confirm Ottawa Titans Water Polo club is one of the recipients of the Government of Ontario’s Community Building Fund investment initiative, a grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation.

COVID-19 has had an overwhelming impact on the arts and culture, heritage, tourism, sport and recreation domains. The Ontario government has invested $105 million through the Community Building Fund to support these sectors important for the social and economic fabric of Ontario and its communities.

The Community Building Fund – Operating Stream grant of $49,800 will be used to help the Ottawa Titans Water Polo club to re-introduce and re-establish many of our sport programming options negatively affected during the pandemic crises.

Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF) investment, provided within the Community Building Fund Operating Stream, should enable our sport organization to recover our operational capabilities with the goal of reaching pre-COVID levels. We are grateful for OTF’s support enabling our sport offering objectives. The legacy will have a long-term impact on our club and the wider community in the National Capital Region beyond pandemic” says Bosko Vukojevic, club president.

Ottawa Titans Water Polo club has been incorporated as a not-for-profit sports organization since 1984, a member of Ontario Water Polo and Water Polo Canada, parent governing bodies of the sport of water polo in Canada.
